In-Year Nursery Applications
In Year Admissions are managed by our school and not Hertfordshire County Council. When applying for a reception place during the usual time frame this is managed by the Local Authority.
This means that admission to nursery and reception outside of the usual time frame of admission and to year 1 to year 6 is managed by the school’s In-Year Applications Process.
Please contact the school for more information and to find out about availability of places.
You will need to submit:
1) A completed In-Year ApplicationForm Although the following documents are not essential; priority will be given to those with:
2) Current Certificate of Catholic Practice - signed by your priest
3) Copy of your child's Baptism Certificate (if applicable)
Please return to: Mrs Levy at St Vincent de Paul School.
Once the document/s have been received we will respond within 15 school days.
The Continued Interest List will be maintained by the Governing Body in the order of the oversubscription criteria and not in the order in which the applications are received. Parents will be notified of the outcome of their application once the application has been received. If there are no spaces available, parents will be informed that their application will be placed on our Continued Interest List. The Local Authority will be notified of the outcome of an application within 2 days.
In year appeals
You can appeal if your in year application is unsuccessful. You should contact the school.appeals@hertfordshire.gov.uk or 01992 588548.
A letter will be sent to applicants in the summer term of the current academic year requesting confirmation that the candidate wishes to stay on the Continued Interest List.
If a renewed application is not received, together with current supporting documentation (if applicable) the candidate’s name will be removed at the end of the academic year.
If you have any questions regarding In-Year applications, please speak to Mrs Levy 01438 729555 or email admin@stvincent.herts.sch.uk
